Just back from the North Olmsted Community Parade, in which your West Shore Rotary Club had a presence. Eric (who still plays hockey!) and Amy Wagner (along with their children Reagan and Grant) walked the parade route and handed out candy. Very much appreciated. (We only got a little wet.) Our North Olmsted High School class of '21 recipient of a West Shore Rotary $1,500 scholarship, Owen Conway, had already started at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (King's Point NY) but was injured there and will be rejoining his class next year. In the meantime he's going to Cleveland State U., taking STEM and Mechanical Engineering classes, with the goal of a Maritime Engineering degree from USMMA.
